The location is fantastic, just a block from downtown activities. Noise travels easily; I could hear footsteps and conversations from other rooms. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. The mattress was quite firm, which wasn't comfortable for me.

The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in easy. Unfortunately, the parking situation is quite limited and inconvenient. Rooms are spacious and clean, which is a big plus. Just be prepared for some noise from other guests in the hallway at times. Breakfast was decent with good options, but the dining area could use more seating.

We booked two rooms, but only one was found at check-in. We had to rush back and forth between dinners to sort it out. The whole experience was chaotic and disappointing!

The hotel has potential but struggles with execution. Impressive location—steps from Front Street and its vibrant eateries and shops. Rooms? Clean and quiet with charming views. The breakfast buffet was commendable. numerous issues persist. Insufficient luggage racks and limited accessible options prove inconvenient. Room cleanliness was questionable; I found hairs, stains, and poorly maintained linens. Staff attitudes varied—some were welcoming, though several interactions felt lacking. The management needs to address these concerns effectively. It's unfortunate, as this stay could have been truly enjoyable with more attention to detail. I won’t be returning without significant changes.

Great breakfast every day kept us fueled. The staff was super friendly and helped us out with local tips.
It wasn't cheap, but worth the money.

Location was spot on, just a block from Front St Room had a fridge, and the bed was super comfy with great pillows. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options. The bar downstairs was chill, and the shower was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plus, it was all decked out for Christmas, which felt magical.

The charming French Creole concept inspired both the hotel's exterior and interior. Catching up at Lounge 1714, watching sports with a great drink selection, impressed me.
Walking into a gun show was not exactly what I had in mind for a relaxing weekend getaway.

The room was nice and clean, but the bed was a bit of a struggle. Flat sheets slipped off easily, leaving us constantly readjusting them throughout the night. The abundance of king-size pillows was a nice touch. Noise from neighboring rooms was noticeable, though leaving the AC fan on helped. The temperature control worked well, keeping the room comfortable. Limited on-site parking was inconvenient, especially during a busy weekend. The bathroom needed attention, especially around the shower, which had mold. the room had potential, but several aspects could use improvement.

The location is spot on for exploring, right by shops and riverfront. The friendly staff made us feel welcome, and who doesn't love king size pillows?
The cleanliness left a bit to be desired.

Staff and location were great! Breakfast was nice, and the coffee was very good. We loved that we could easily walk to most places in the historical downtown district, making exploring a breeze.
The facilities weren't up to standard. The thin walls resulted in a noisy night with disturbances from neighboring rooms.

From jazz to rock, there was something for everyone in the family, making it a memorable experience for us all.
My kids wished for more kid-friendly breakfast options.

During my stay, I was thrilled to discover just how easy it was to walk to all the delightful little shops and rich historical sites like the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and the beautiful Roque House, all within a mile from the hotel which made my weekend strolls so enjoyable; the friendly staff added to the experience with their warm southern hospitality, and the breakfast was always satisfying. Just a heads up, though, the elevator situation could use some improvement, as only one was functioning during my stay.

The location is a dream, just a block from Front Street with plenty of dining and shopping options. The room was quiet and clean, though some areas felt overlooked. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the scrambled eggs and coffee. The king suite was spacious, offering a separate area for the kids, which was great since my husband snores. there were a few letdowns—hot water was a no-show when I needed it most, and a rude front desk encounter soured the arrival experience. Little things, like a broken fountain, were also disappointing. Still, I’d recommend it for the charm and convenience.

the room we were allocated lacked some key amenities. The absence of a blow dryer was quite inconvenient, especially for the ladies in our group. the lack of a microwave and an inoperative coffee pot made it difficult to enjoy a hot cup of tea in the morning. On the bright side, the spacious rooms and comfortable beds really stood out to us. The bed was exceptionally cozy, adorned with plenty of pillows for a good night's sleep. The location of the hotel was also convenient, just a block away from Front St, which made exploring the Historic District a breeze. we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. Finding hairs and a stain on the bedding was off-putting, and we had to request new linens from the front desk. The housekeeping staff seemed friendly, but the overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. the limited parking situation was a hassle, especially for those with mobility issues. Having to park a block away due to capacity issues was not ideal, particularly in the summer heat. In terms of customer service, there were some lapses in communication and attentiveness. We had to wait for our room past the check-in time, and the response to our concerns about the broken soap dispenser and torn top sheet was lackluster. The breakfast offered was subpar, with the attendant displaying a lack of enthusiasm and warmth. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel did have some positive aspects. The spacious outer courtyard looked inviting, although we didn't get to enjoy it due to the hot weather. The staff, particularly Latanya at the front desk and Reginald, were friendly and helpful. our stay at Chateau Saint Denis had its ups and downs.

My crew and I hit up the local music scene - jamming to rock, soul, and country! It was lit! Plus, we got insider tips for our epic Louisiana adventure at every turn! Super rad!
Just wish there was a dope nightclub nearby to keep the party going all night long! .

The Chateau Saint Denis A Historic Hotel Downtown's convenient parking and guest laundry were unexpected delights. Not only was the location perfect for exploring the historic district of Natchitoches, but the hotel's amenities, including the daily hot breakfast, added to the overall positive experience.
Inconsistent water temperature and empty soap dispenser.
